First: They suggest to make it perfect you need to break out the stucco around the perimeter of the window somewhere between 6 to 9 inches in width because that is the size of the flashing paper.
Second: Flashing paper along with the new replacement window with a nail fin flange which has to be screwed in every 6 inches and sealed with one continuous bead of caulking to meet all the building and safety requirements.
